The Coach's Corner
A good tip for any tennis player, recreational or competition!
The “warm-up” is one of the most important parts of your game. When preparing for a match, plan on arriving for your match in time to properly
warm-up so you are loose and perspiring before you hit your first official point. Stretch, jog in place, get your heart rate up and your limbs loose. Pace the hitting in the warm-up to allow your muscles time to warm up. Use the warm-up also as a time to relax and prepare your
mind for the game. During the match, between points, do what it takes to maintain the optimal sense of warmth and flexibility so you can enjoy the game.
